ValValerie Pearson has been a professional actress for over 30 years and has worked across the country from Vancouver to New Brunswick.  Selected credits include: The Stone Angel, Angels in America and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf for Alberta Theatre Projects; Waiting for the Parade, The Sisters  Rosensweig, Counsellor at Law  and An Ideal Husband for Theatre Calgary; Our Town, Oliver , and If we are Women for The Citadel; For the Pleasure of Seeing her Again, Theatre Network; Elizabeth Rex, Over the River and Through the Woods, and Doubt for The Globe Theatre; Cyrano de Bergerac and Memories of You for the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. Valerie has also won several major awards including The Harry and Martha Cohen Award, 2 AMPIAS, a Betty and a Sterling. She was also nominated for a Genie for her starring role in “Solitaire”. Val has appeared in several movies of the week and had a recurring lead role in the television series “Shoebox Zoo”.
